From 18th to 22nd of February, HYSON Teas took part for the fourth time, in the food and beverage exhibition ‘Gulfood 2018’ in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Which is one of the largest of its kind in the world. The Exhibition took place at the Dubai World Trade Center and received about 5,000 exhibitors, 97,000 visitors and 185 participating countries.
The participation has several purposes, including doing business with the Gulf and African countries.
“Gulfood is a melting pot of many cultures and it’s a cultural place for trade. Our expectation was to focus on the market growth, making more contacts and networking in a region where growth of Tea consumption & development of Tea community have a very high potential. It was a really good exposure for our HYSON Brand and the client feedback was really positive which allowed us to receive more opportunities from buyers around the world” Lushantha de Silva- Founder of Hyson Teas & S. Our main purpose was to;
- Introduce new products to all the tea lovers around the world who presented at the exhibition
- Unveil New business opportunities
- Assist and share knowledge on new and evolving global challenges.
- HYSON Teas was located in the Beverages pavilion, at booth Z5-112, and showed its potential as the 3rd Best Ceylon Tea Exporter in Sri Lanka and represented the HYSON Brand as a Subsidiary of Empire Teas (PVT) LTD. The booth featured all the brands that was under the parent company Empire Teas (PVT) Ltd for its clients, so that the visitors know the companies that have trusted Empire Teas to produce and package their products.
HYSON Teas was always presented at the most important exhibitions around the world in the Food and Beverage category, which are mainly PRODEXPO in Russia, ANUGA in Germany, SIAL in Paris/ China, and GULFOOD in Dubai; HYSON Teas has recurrently participated in all of them, managing to position itself in international markets.
